Does an OEF membership cover me or my horse? An OEF membership provides automatic personal liability insurance for the member – it doesn’t matter how many horses you own or ride. How can I get my horse insured?

The OEF provides an optional member named perils insurance program for members, but you are best to contact an insurance provider directly for more information.

You can purchase a membership online, by fax or by mail. When will I receive my membership card? Please allow at lease two weeks for your membership to be processed and your card to be issued. Electronic membership cards can be issued within a day.

How do I choose a riding stable? Stables that belong to the OEF Horse Facilities Council have agreed to employ the minimum safety and management standards outlined by the OEF. You can access a listing of these stables using the online OEF Directory. If you are considering riding at a stable that is not a member of the Horse Facilities Council please be sure to ask the following questions.
